Smallmouth Bass

Pound for pound, many anglers find the smallmouth to be the best fighter of all popular gamefish. Our guests catch many bass up to six pounds each year. Fish this favorite with light tackle on the many reefs or rocky shorelines surrounding nearly 500 islands.

Walleye

Argued to be the best eating of all fish, walleye are found in abundance all over Eagle Lake. Thanks to lake's conservation program with slot limit sizes, the walleye fishery is better than ever. Each year, several trophy fish over 10 pounds are taken.

Northern Pike

Fish weed beds starting right off our dock for this great game fish. Spoons, stick baits, spinners or live bait are big producers for this hungry monster. Many years the river produces the largest pike of the season.

Lake Trout

This fighter can be found near the surface in the spring or fall, and at the deep drops offs in the hot summer months. There's nothing like a big Laker on light tackle.

Muskie

The border shields waters of Eagle Lake are renowned for our world class Muskie population. Our 48 inch or larger size limit speaks for itself. Bring your own heavyweight tackle and cast or troll for that trophy of a lifetime.

Enjoy some great Bird hunting

Hunt Ducks in our wild rice bays, creeks and small lakes. Our season opens in mid September running through early October. Hunt the rice bays in our 18' Lund boats equipped with new pop-open spacious blinds. The versatility of these blinds lets you or our guide position the blind and decoys.

Hunt Partridge on nearby game trails and fields. Combine your fall fishing and hunting for a great outdoor experience.

Bear Hunting

Our new BMA is one of the finest in the area and is 115 square miles in size. MNR biologists estimate one Black Bear per square mile, of these 25% being cub producing females. With Fin & Feather's limit of 6 to 8 Fall Bear Hunters, a high success rate will always be maintained.

The season is from August 15th through October 1st, with bear hides in prime winter condition. We will bait all summer long to provide quality fall hunting.

We have professional baiting of all areas to provide active locations. Don't forget to bring your fishing gear for great fall fishing with Northern Pike in the shallows, Walleyes at their peak and Smallmouth Bass off the rocky shorelines.
